My Head And My Genitals Don’t Talk Anymore by Lavender is a mixed-media zine about being physically horny for something your head knows is bad for you, and the messy space between mind and body. It dives into shame, body image, gender identity, and queer spirituality through poetry, collage, photography, and painting.

Part mission statement, part self-portrait, it looks at intimacy and self-perception as places where care and discomfort blur. Made from the lens of a queer, plus-size artist in Ireland, it’s an honest attempt to make sense of desire, doubt, and the complicated beauty of existing in one’s own body.
